This performance is always really powerful, but it’s got this sentimental thing attached to it now that Justin is big ‘n famous. It just strikes me as really humble. Like, he couldn’t have known that this song could move pretty much every single person who ever heard it or watched it. He was a nobody screaming the lyrics on the stage with an out of tune guitar. Kinda chubby. Wearing khakis. Sitting down. Giving people chills.
